I started out wanting a plain solitaire that I could use as a stacking ring, but the bling on PS has started to have its effect!
I like to be able to see the girdle and culet, so these are my choices so far.
If I got the WF halo I would have a plain shank and milgrain the outer edge of the halo.
I've picked out the diamond and need to decide on a setting ASAP.
Opinions, please.

I just found out that the Verragio takes 5 weeks to fabricate! That might be *too long* to wait =) In fact, it IS too long to wait.

As for the WF halo, does having diamonds on the shank really add a lot to the ring? Would it be a mistake to have a plain shank?

I like the halo's. The Verragio is very pretty, but whoa is it expensive! The WF halo is nice, but I wish the halo was tilted instead of so straight; and it feels a bit industrial. I like the Ritani halo much better: http://www.whiteflash.com/engagemen...dless-love-solitaire-engagement-ring-2059.htm

expensive yes! Thanks for your comment. I really like the Ritani and had talked with WF about it before, putting milgrain on the edge and a rose gold shank. If only it could be prong set. I hate to bezel my stone right away. I love being able to see the whole thing and with the WF halo I thought I could at least peek at the girdle, but I see what you mean about the straight halo.
I'm sure I'll be pondering for a while...at least a day or two =)
