I am expecting a 5.00 carat oval LGD in the next few days.
I want to set this in a simple, solitaire pendant, perhaps 1 bail, WG or Plat, 16" or slightly shorter chain.
Want to keep cost down, if possible.
Who will accept this diamond and make the pendant (most likely basket shape) for me?
thanks.

That is a large diamond for a pendant! I would probably contact David Klass. His turn around time seems pretty quick - particularly for a simple setting.

This is what I want. Any other suggestions? Perhaps a local jeweler is my best bet.necklaces-diamond-pendant-settings_hero.jpg.webp

Does anyone have access to Stuller to see if they offer this as a stock setting?

If you want to go custom, then I echo the David Klass recomendation. That setting looks pretty simple. I would go on the stuller website and see if they make something similar. If they do, you can look at where they have retailers local to you and ask one of those local jewelers to place an order for you. They should be able to do a bit of customization for you and that’s probably the cheapest route.

The size of your stone most likely will eliminate the possibility of ordering a stock item, unfortunately, requiring you to go custom.
