Here are three different badly done photoshop mock ups of my band choices. Just got off phone with Tacori concierge who was an utter delight.

There are:

1. Thickest, with about 1.6 or 1.7 mm step cuts- same a halo step cuts (channel setting adds metal width so about 2.5mm) this is band of Tacori 2517 http://www.tacori.com/Engagement-Rings/HT2517EC75X55

2. Medium somewhere around 1.4 mm or 1.5 stones, maybe 2.2 mm not sure (same band as 2643 but with step cuts)

3. Thinnest, total width 1.8 mm it would have tiny step cuts instead of princess model 45

Doesnt seem like a huge difference in width, but you do notice it!

Thank you! :wavey:

First up- the Thickest about 2.5 mm or so.

The upside here is the side detailing I think.

Downside, it is so high

2. Medium just how the 2643 comes, but with step cuts instead of rounds

3. Thinnest- normally my go to option, I love a teeny tiny band. BUT- you lose the side detail, which is nice.

I like all three and I'm useless! I hope you all can help

Thanks!

PS. the halo is badly photoshopped, I hope it will look better than this in real life

I would go with the thickest (for the side detail) or the thinnest (so your diamond pops the most). The medium seems like a compromise, but -- the diamond won't pop and you've already lost most of the side detail, so it's really taking the benefit out of either the thick or thin bands.

great input, I agree with antelope1 here.

Hey! Tacori just sent me a photo of my option 1 morph. I must say they have been really great.

It would be just like this but with a rectangular halo (and diamond) and step cuts in the band.

Not as bulky as I pictured!

What do you think? Still pretty delicate? Or go smaller?

I agree with you guys, the middle seems like the safe option, but lacks the impact of either razzle dazzle sides, or teeny tiny width.

This is why this site is a godsend!! No one gives me real feedback IRL, just- oh they are all pretty!

I think it's still pretty delicate (the larger band). Plus, one of the main things to love about Tacori (IMO) is the detail - and you get more of that with the wider band.

You can't go wrong with any of them but my vote is for the thickest

geckodani, yes it would probably be a shame to lose all of that detail. Now that I see the photo, the width doesn't worry me as much. My photoshop version was scaring me a bit.

Thanks girlsbestfriend for your vote!

Now I just wait for the quote :errrr:
