I an looking to upgrade my wife's ring from a. 43 j stone to one of the following. Your knowledge and assistance is greatly appreciated!!!

1) 1.13 carat, h, vs2

2 is better but this is whiter and the idealscope would be nearly as good. ask if someone already got an IS on it, as it may have been evaluated before. It's probably at least 1K cheaper, too.

Thanks for linking that Hawk, it's a really useful tutorial!

And it's a 2 from me Simon. Lovely images, the hearts image looks good, I colour should still face up beautifully white with those proportions and precision of cut and VS2 should be eye clean but no harm in making sure by asking the vendor to check as I can notice an inclusion reflecting around the underside of the diamond, I very much doubt you would see it but it doesn't hurt to make sure.

According to the JA gemologist: "It has excellent fire, brilliance, and scintillation, which balances evenly throughout the diamond. Its "I" color appears white and the diamond is completely eye clean. The faceting on the diamond is gorgeous [and] has strong[], most lively light performance."

Realized I never posted. The service from James allen could not have been better, the advice from ps was great, and my fiance loves her ring.
