I am looking to chage my setting and I checked out Dimend Scasci but you have to purchase the stone from them.

I have a 2ct radiant diamond and I am looking to change the current setting to a thin enternity type setting with matching band.

I have a wide diamond filled setting with matching band and it just over powers the center stone, I want the center stone to take the show.

Something like Mara''s, Lynn B''s or the one I attached.

Any imput or help would be grateful.

I recommend Merry Richards in Oakbrook (there is also one in Glen Ellyn or Glenview--can''t remember which!), or Martin & Martin in Oak Lawn.

Go to Marshall Pierce at 29 E. Madison, 6th Floor (right when you get off the elevators). Ask for Jim Bern (he''s one of the owners) and tell him his most problimatic Jack Kelege customer sent you (he''ll know exactly who I am, LOL!). They have a huge selection of settings; get him to bring out the trays from the back. (And don''t be scared off by the prices on the tags either; get him to price things out for you if you''re interested. You don''t have to tell him I told you *that* though!

)

They are open 9-5 Monday-Friday and 10-3 on Saturdays. Nicest people in the world (next to Bill Pearlman, of course, but you don''t sound like you want to make the trek to Battle Creek, Michigan).

Thank you Dee Jay , I will try the Oakbrook one first b/c I live in Joliet.

If I don't find anything I will make that "journey" to Chicago:)! Which almost seems like a foreign country to me now that I have moved to the burbs! LOL.

I am looking at white gold to save $$$$, do you think I could find something like the picture(without the halo) for @3200-3800.00.

I would think that you certainly could find something like that without the halo in that price range.

Does the smaller type setting and band make the center stone look larger???? I hope LOL!

I am really wanting a 3c princess or Radiant!

The thinner band generally does make a diamond look bigger--but at 3 cts you will have big bling as it is, LOL!

Well right now I will have to suffice with my 2ct.

I was trying to upload a picture, or send it to the admin but for some reason I couldn''t. Do you know how to do that or how I could e-mail a picture and have someone upload it for me.

JUst click the report abuse button on the post where you are asking for help posting pictures and the administrator will email you back so you can send the pictures.

It''s the one i have for now.
