How goes the cushion saga? With all the old school cushions being posted lately, I firmly believe that your stone will pop up sooner or later. That last stone you posted is my stone''s distant cousin - likely same cutter or from the same manufacturer, I''m almost 99.9% certain of it. The stone is old, but the cut probably happened more recently. They have an interesting history. Anyhoo, I hope you get what you want. You''ve certainly put a lot of effort into your search and have helped many others with theirs.

I am so sorry I didn''t respond sooner! I rarely come over to the Hangout and didn''t see it. I was looking for one of my old post and this popped up in the search engine!

The diamond was from your manufacturer. I often check their inventory because they have all the cushions I want! Their prices are cheaper too but I won''t be going to them for this diamond. My search is at a stand still because there is nothing right now. I think a lot of stones are at the antique show in Miami so maybe more to come in the next few weeks. Patience is key! Our process started mid last year. I guess we just take longer than others

I will be sure to report back if there is any progress. I won''t be settling so it might take a long time and annoy my vendors in the mean time! I guess it works out ok because the designer is pretty busy especially right now before valentine''s day.

No worries! I''m glad to hear you''re going to hold out for "the one"! I check their inventory as well, but it rarely changes. I wish they would start cutting new stones because I love the shape of their cushions, but they seem content to just wait for the old ones to trickle in.

Would you mind sharing who the manufacturer is who had Pixley''s stone? I love it!! Do they have OECs as well?

Charmy -- What ever happened with your setting? Is Maytal going to redo it or will you go with another designer? Was she receptive to your complaint? I hope you get exactly what you want in the end. Sometimes it can be a long road getting there. Good luck!
