Champagne Diamond Halo Beauty, I'm in love!

Thanks PS for being my inspiration! I got my beautiful ring given to me at our engagement party by my sneaky fiance (he'd proposed with a CZ and we designed the real one together). I was set on a champagne diamond once I set my eyes on one in real life, I love the gentle colour as I found colourless diamonds don't do it for me. It took me a while to work out the colour of gold I wanted as I'm pretty indecisive but absolutely love how it turned out! I thought I'd share my baby with you and especially for anyone considering a Champagne as I found it near impossible to find any other nice champagne e-rings out there. Mine is a c1/c2 and the subtlety is so pretty, she changes shades in different lights and I find the YG band really makes her pop

She's a 1.04ct eyeclean si1 band is YG and halo is WG and designed to sit flush with my wedding band.

Very true Niel, she changes from a soft lemon to peachy to the colour of actual champagne to a more cognac and even looks like a colourless in some lights

I love champagne diamonds with a halo because it sort of frames the diamond and accentuates the color! It is beautiful!

Try to get some close ups in natural daylight so we can see the color better!

I love it when people share their photos and stories about finding a not-as usual stone or ring so those out there looking for the same thing have some resources to look in to, and after seeing your ring, I'm betting a lot of others out there will be looking to snag a champagne diamond for themselves! One of my workmates' father works at the mine itself, and they have a lottery system for people who have not missed a day of work in X amount of time (not sure if it's done once a year or what). The winner gets a pink diamond. She said it was awesome, because he won, but she was disappointed that the diamond was 'so small.' When pressed, she compared it in size to a quarter carat stone I have. I would have been chuffed to get a .25 Argyle pink for free!

OP, your ring is beautiful - the color looks perfect with your skin tone. I'm sure you're getting a boatload of compliments on it. Congratulations and I hope you enjoy it for many years.

I've been getting so many compliments, if you're on the fence about getting a champagne, do it! you won't regret it, just make sure you find one you love and look at it under different lighting conditions.
