Casting rings - how delicate is possible?

So... I'm considering getting a ring made for my good lady but am limited on budget and fear my expectations exceed that budget (as usual)!

It needs to be sturdy yet look very delicate.
It needs to be perhaps only 3mm wide.
It would need to be very low / snug to the finger.
I would want it to perhaps look like a vine plant / climbing rose - sort of flowing but natural.
It may need a stone of some kind included.
It may need to be platinum.

This is too chunky:

This is cool it terms of 'squiggly-ness' but it would need leaves or similar and I guess is not really anything like I want :

Does any of that make sense?? I think I would kind of want it 'many strands forming one', if you know what I mean...


Is it possible to cast such a ring or would it need to be hand-worked from wire?

Are the third and fourth examples above just CADs, therefore suggesting casting?

Have you looked at David Klass? I know he created a rose shaped ring with a stone center that is just amazing! His instagram shows a lot of rings with leaves and different elements inspired by nature. He'll work to help you customize it so it matches your vision.

Also, check out CVB Inspired Design; Caysie is doing an engraved set with leaves and vines for me. She also does custom work and while I'm eagerly awaiting my ring set, I have seen great feedback on here regarding her pieces.

(I haven't personally worked with DK yet but he's been recommended to me by other PSers)

Also, I want to note that if you're considering platinum due to allergies, both of these artists work with different alloys that don't have nickel so make sure to talk to them about your options.

I believe what you want could be cast, maybe with the finer details further defined by hand. Have you looked at Doron Merav (I think that's the spelling) He is a jeweler out of Israel that sells a lot on Etsy and has many nature inspired designs...apologies if he is one of the links you posted I didn't open them all
