I know there are some expectant PS mommies and new mommies (and Aunts and Uncles!) and thought this video was very cool. A woman made it for her sister so she would keep her daughter rearfacing longer in her carseat. It''s to the Snow Patrol song from Grey''s Anatomy!

Hmmm..good info.. personally, I would be ticked and think it was a bit pretentious for someone to make a video for me and post it on U-Tube. I think this comment was interesting...

This is an excellent video but it needs to address the fact that in a car that is hit from behind the results are exactly the opposite and much worse if the rear-facing seat does not have an anchor from the back of the seat to something solid behind it (like the bottom of the front seat) to keep the seat from lifting up and flying toward the back of the car in a rear-end collision. These anchor straps are vital when using a child''s seat in the rear-facing position.

But I think the video had a very good and well thought out message.

I hated when my kids were rear facing and couldn''t wait until they were old enough and big enough to face forward. I do respect the safety of facing backwards but when they are so little and you can''t see them I used to get worried that they were choking or something and I wouldn''t know. At that age they are too little to tell you that they are ok. I can''t tell you the number of times I pulled over to check on them. Good video though.
