i want to know if there a big difference between a 1.7 versus a 2.0 stone, i can''t find a comparison and i have not seen them in person yet. i am considering an excellent cut HCA 1.1 + but i am thinking i might want closer to a 2 carets (i''d have to sacrifice on clarity VS2 versus VS1 or higher) .

After looking on GOG at approx 1.7 and 2.0, it looks like the difference is around .50 millimeters in diameter. So I guess in good quality ideal cuts, that is what you'd be looking at.
