I couldn't sleep well last night so I decided to try the couch out, it's super comfy. The living room is at the front of the house. Around two am I fall asleep.

Fast forward to 412 am.

I hear a noise from outside. If I were in the bedroom, I wouldn't have heard anything at all. Go to the window and see a car nestled snuggly against a tree in my front yard  I quickly grab some outside appropriate clothing and check the window to see if it's safe to go outside.

Then I see something that boggles the mind...

The woman gets out, and walks away. WALKS AWAY. (the police haven't found her yet)

Go to investigate the scene and realize, there's a whole tree missing!

Whoa! At least the woman was ok enough to walk away, but it's really worrisome that they haven't found her! Who knows whether she had internal injuries... I hope she's okay!

I may be stating the obvious, but the reason to walk away from a crash like this is because the driver was likely drunk. I witnessed a similar scene, coming home from the airport late one winter night. Truck was in a tree, driver was MIA.

Sorry about your tree, Davi!

Oh my lord! Glad she didn't hit the house... I really hope they find her soon, that is sooo irresponsible!! :nono:

OMG...I'm glad she wasnt hurt but...wonder if she was DUI or on drugs or something. I dont think most normal people would
have left the scene.

Stinks that you lost a whole tree. Hopefully her insurance will pay for a new one?
