I am so incredibly excited! I've been working on my emerald cut ring project for over 2 months and finally it will be ready tomorrow afternoon!! I can't wait. Here are some pictures of what I'm hoping it will look like.

I'm hoping this works. It's hard to tell from the pics, but this is what I'm going for: a center emerald cut with 3 tapered baguettes on either side set in platinum.

Here's my emerald cut. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's an H VS1, 1.51 ct, 66.3% depth, 64% table, length to width ratio: 1.51:1.

WOW that is going to be amazing. Are the side baguettes of good clarity? I'm sure it's just my monitor but the one all the way on the right looks like it may have a black inclusion?

The baguettes are VS clarity. The black dots you're seeing are just reflections, definitely no dark carbon spots in these stones!

I can attest to diamond dreams plaguing me sometimes...when I know I am getting a new bauble soon or I have to make a big decision on something, it's amazing what comes out in our dreams! hehee.

What I like best is that the Center stone has its own presence that is enhanced by the tapering side stones...

I'm so disappointed. My ring was supposed to be ready today, but it wasn't. It's supposed to be here tomorrow, but I don't want to get too excited in case it isn't. I know it's just one more day, but it's so hard to wait.

Thanks, Mara. It's nice to know that there are people out there who are as nuts as I am about diamonds and get what it means to have to wait even one more day to see my new bauble!!
