Hello,

What I mean is something like BlueNile.com for example, but based in Canada. I know BlueNile has a Canadian site that is called BlueNile.ca, but anything you buy there still comes from the States. So therefore, processing is greatly slowed down since you need to ship across the border.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Paul

Good luck my friend... us Canadians truly get the short end of the stick when it comes to quality online vendors and service... for diamonds and otherwise.

What about Diamondexchange.ca? They have offices throughout Canada and also in NYC so you can choose to see the stones in person before you buy. Their database seems pretty extensive. I''d be interested to see what kind of feedback people can offer regarding their service.

I am in the U.S. and I purchased from USA Certed. Despite their name, I believe they are based out of Ontario. Their site says they can meet with customers in Toronto. I got an amazing diamond at a great price from them. This is their site.

I tell everyone to try to ignore their less than attractive website. It really doesn''t do the company justice. Martin was fantastic to work with.

Try this one. Very reputable in Vancouver. Canadian Diamond Wholesale. They carry GIA and AGS stones. They are not as detailed when it comes to seeing the certificates online. I would think you would have to email them or speak to them directly to find out the exact specs of the diamond.

I must second Jazmine here. I have worked with Martin in the past as well. He was a gem.

There is NOTHING...I searched and searched, and ended up getting my diamond from Toronto, from a local jeweler. Good luck!
