Can I put this stone in this setting?

I love this setting, but will my stone fit it being a wonky shaped cushion? (stone is 5.5 to 6mm, about .75)

the citrine thats currently in the setting is 6mm, my stone is also.....the citrine is a round though. What do I need to ask the seller to measure to know?
