Can I put TarnX or another kind of ring cleaner in my ultrasonic cleaner?

I have some TarnX jewelry cleaner and a couple other random jewelry cleaners in jars that I''ve gotten over the years - can they be used in the ultrasonic cleaner? The one I loved the results of the most was just dropping my other ring (14K yellow gold and diamonds) into the regular TarnX (not the jewelry version) and scrubbing it...but maybe the jewelry cleaning version would have a better effect when combined with the ultrasonic?

Alao...this is kind of off topic, but what would happen if you put your fingers in the solution while the ultrasonic was running? I was googling but can''t find any information on what would happen!

I would not use TarnX on anything. I used it on my silver one time and the results were disastrous! There are too many tried and true cleaners to use - I wouldn''t risk that one.

I don''t think anything awful would happen if you put your fingers in an ultrasonic - the bubbles implode instead of explode but I don''t think it would hurt you. Mine won''t work with the lid open though!
