Can I get a setting w/o stones?

First, I would like to thank everyone that has responded to my poll - I really appreciate the input

The question is this - once I decide on a setting - Can I buy a designer setting w/o stones (Vatche etc)?
I would really like to pick out stones myself, not only to ensure quality and matching, but also because it seems anyone that has semi-mounts charges very high prices, for so-so kind of stones. Between the input on this site, Jim @ DCD, Whiteflash and others..I am spoiled - not only to stone factors but to the $$ factor as well.

Should be able too on most of them.

From what Iv seen the manufacturer/designer sells most settings without stones.
They are added further up the food chain ether by the wholesaler or the vendor.
There are a few exceptions that I am aware of however.

They are indeed available unmounted. The price doesn't seem like they come without stones, but thats another topic....
