Can a four or six prong head be soldered to an eternity ring?

Hi everyone! This is my first post, but have been following PS threads for a while. You are all so helpful and knowledgeable. I'm wondering, does anyone know if it’s possible to solder a four or six prong head to a 1.75mm platinum pave band/eternity ring? My stone is 1.3ct and the pave diamonds match the center stone in color and clarity. I will of course talk to a local jeweler but would love to hear your thoughts and experience on this. Thank you!

I had never heard of this, but a jeweler I was talking to actually suggested doing this with a band that I liked, so I do think it is possible.

Yes! My mother had a basket set diamond added on the top of a double eternity band. It looked lovely.
