Hi Treefrog: I found the pics of the poison-dart treefrog hubby made from clay. They''re terrible pics from a long time ago but I hope you can get the idea. He made the frog and leaf it''s sitting on out of clay, painted, then attached to a wooden plaque.

Uncle George! Long time, no see!

Seriously Dianne, even the bad pics look good. He even has the veins on the leaf. I''m not sure what impresses me more - the painting detail or the clay work. I bet this is incredibly relaxing for him to work on these. How in the world did he get started in these?

Beautiful!

Has he ever tried his hand at sculpting wax?

Thank you so much to everyone! I love sharing these pics because I think he is super-talented and it''s wonderful hearing the comments from others besides family. I actually think hubby is blushing so this is great fun for me...LOL!

I may have to include one of his ugly, sci-fi creatures....they''re hideous but you can''t look away. It''s like it''s so ugly but the painting is so amazing it''s hard to believe it isn''t alive. Creepy at night, believe me!

Thank you! I could kick myself for not making sure I had better pics before that was given to someone. I asked him how he got started and he said he used to love the sculptures he would see at a store at the beach that sold collectibles...so he just tried it one day for himself, but he can''t remember the first thing he made.

I would never be unhappy with a man that can, and will, do anything around the house. Hey! I would love new crown molding....wanna trade a frog for it...LOL!

OMG! Is that a frog on a leaf in your avatar? I have never paid enough attention to see that! Obviously, I don''t pay attention to detail like my hubby does...LOL!

Just beautiful

He should think about selling on etsy.

Hi kribbie: He does sell his work but very seldom. He keeps a lot of it. He also gives it as gifts and friends, and co-workers, have asked him to make something specific for either themselves or for them to give as gifts. They do pay him but it''s really difficult to make enough money for your time. It really does have to be something you love to do . It''s just very time-consuming.

Yep, my purple treefrog tattoo! We used to have treefrogs in an aquarium in the house-I adore frogs!

And I totally ditto checking out Etsy-there''s some amazing artists selling things on there-your husband can add his gorgeous work too!
