Calling Experts- Help a New Person Decide between 2 round brilliants 2.59 vs 2.82

Good Morning! I've learned SO much reading all the threads- thank you! I'm down to these 2 stones that I have seen in person at Cultured Brilliance in Atlanta. Tony there will be doing my custom platinum setting (for 1700). I should have taken pictures, but I just didn't! I really loved both stones and can't decide. I didn't see any blue hues. Help me pick PLEASE!

1. 2.59 D SI1 Round Brilliant GIA# 6391819128, HCA 0.9, eye clean (I thought very clean for an Si1), $7000





2. 2.82 D VS2 Round Brilliant IGI #LG506190741, HCA 1.1, $8500

I’m going to concur with @DejaWiz I’d also chose the 2.82! Lovely.

Thanks everyone! I was already leaning towards the larger one as this is my ‘upgrade’ after being married 16 yrs and I don’t want to do this again! I’m definitely going for the 2.82 now! I will post a pic when I get the ring!
