Hi Coda, I am just interested to know whether you''re happy with how your pink sapphires are perfoming next to those beautiful diamonds in your new eternity band? I am getting an alternating pink sapphire and diamond band, but wonder whether all diamonds would be a safer bet ... just wondering whether you have an opinion? Thanks so much

Loveloveloveit, I am very happy with how my pink sapphires sparkle next to the diamonds. While they obviously aren''t as sparkly as H&A melee, they hold their own, surprisingly enough. Brian and Lesley picked out a good batch of stones because they sparkle more than any pink sapphires I''ve ever seen.

I think what it really comes down to is whether you like colored stones or not. I love diamonds, but I also like to have the contrast of colored stones in what I wear daily. My original wedding set has blue sapphires in it, and this set that I made my new wedding set has the pink sapphires. I just love the colored stones next to the diamonds, but you may not be that kind of person. If you''re an all diamond person, stick to the all diamond eternity band. If you like gemstones, the pink sapphires are a good choice. I personally would never pay the high prices for pink diamonds because I feel like the pink sapphires I have sparkle as much as any colored diamond.

Hey Coda, I just found your response to my post. Thank you so much. Your pinks are a quite light pink from what I can tell in your photos? Did you get a selection of pinks to choose from in order to get that shade? I am trying to match my existing surprise pink diamonds which are very light, but in the end I don''t think that''s going to be possible as they have the purple/pink sort of hue. In future I think I will know I am an all diamonds kinda girl, but I will be happy to have one band with coloured stones to add a bit of interest. Thanks again

My pink sapphires are not as light as they appear in the photos. Although, depending on the light source they vary in color. Sometimes they are a pretty saturated pink, other times they seem more muted. I did not have any input on the color of the sapphires; I left that to Lesley and Brian''s expertise. They came out exactly as I wanted them, but if you''re trying to match them to another band, you may have to send that band to the vendor to make sure they will match.
