I'm hoping that you come across this note...

I am looking to buy a Rolex and, from the look of stock / who's still in business in terms of AD's in western Canada, it's looking like I will probably be looking to purchase it in Calgary.

I have been in touch with both J. Vair and Brinkhaus. I am wondering if you would recommend one over the other for any reason?

I would still love to get together when I'm in Calgary sometime!

I am familiar with both jewellers who presently sell Rolex in town--I bought mine from Brinkhaus. My BIL bought his from Brinkhaus as well.

Both my DH and I have purchased watches from both vendors you mention and we have always been happy with the product and customer service. Incidentally Brinkhaus has some Estate watches--of all brands. Calgary Jewelery also carries a vast array of brands--not sure if they carry Rolex at this time. Fleetwood Jewellery carries Estate Rolexes and I might also look at Alberta Diamond Exchange.

I woudl buy from the vendor who gives me the best discount!!!!

You would avoid paying the PST in BC buying in AB--good reason to shop here! Let me know if/when you are around.....

Yes, I wouldn't buy new without a discount! I know Pearlman's gives a PS discount if you want to take a little trip to the US!
