calling all 3 stone divas!

I have been doing some reading on posts with wonderful 3 stone rings, and I am looking for some input and help. I am trying to design a 3 stone ring, using a RB as the center. It is a J, 3.25 carat, and I am trying to decide between sidestones that are pears, trillions, half moons, etc. I have seen KD''s fabulous ring and so many others that are just gorgeous. Is there something else to consider other than how this design looks?

I originally thought I wanted a halo and it''s funny how you can change your mind. I have gone a complete other direction after all the looking and trying on of rings I have done, and after all of the beautiful things I''ve seen from all of you!

my vote is the pears. I like trillions better with a square stone and half moons with an oval. the half moons on a round just kinda blur and blend with the center IMO. But that is strictly my opinion

It''s rare that I like trillions on a ring ... so SEVERE ... and I can''t really picture half moons with a round (straight side toward curved edge?? hard to get the proportion right without looking Mickey Mouse-ish) soooooo
