Caleb Meyer experience?

Hi Everyone,

After much lurking I bought a beautiful stone from Whiteflash. Fast forward 4 years and I''m divorced and looking to reset my stone.

Caleb Meyer designs were recommended to me. I''ve checked out his website and love his work. I may have found a setting I really like.

It''s a little scary to mail my diamond to someone I don''t know.

It seems like a lot of people here have worked with him.

I''d love to hear your experience working with him. Please share.

This site is a wealth of information.

I know a number of PS''ers including myself have worked with James Meyer (Caleb''s dad and teacher),
however I don''t think we have had a review yet of Caleb - you could be our first!

I wouldn''t have any concern about sending them your diamond though, they have a very good reputation.
The only thing I would recommend when having your diamond set with a company you didn''t buy it from, is to be aware its not covered for any damage (usually - you would have to ask CM about their policy on this).

Caleb is highly skilled and I wouldn''t imagine this would be an issue at all, but you may just want to check your insurance cover.

Do you mind to share what settings of his you like? I am also considering working with him atm

Very nice! I love number 1 and number 3, have done for awhile.

I would just give them a call and begin a dialogue - like I mentioned, I have been considering using them myself atm. If I''m being honest I must admit I''ve been a *tad* disappointed with the CS so far (no reply to emails over a couple of days), but it''s not a big deal..(I can''t call as not in the US).

I know from dealing with James that email is not his favourite medium, so maybe Caleb is the same ..?

Either way, the work is beautiful and I''m sure you''d be very happy with one of those settings.

Very strange about the email. So far they''ve been very responsive. I written 3x and received a reply twice from Caleb and once from Stephanie. Each response has been within 48 hours, maybe 24 hours, I''m not sure.

Granted, my emails have been somewhat short and exploratory......rather then my lengthy rambling.

It''s the CM studio you have not received a response from? I bet if you put "Stephanie - question please!" in the subject line you get a response.

Maybe they just missed your email ???

By the way, what is atm ?
