CAD Design of My Ring

I like it and I think it''s lovely. The gallery looks a LITTLE boxy for me though in comparison to the top view. That''s just a personal thing though.

Can you post a picture of what would look less boxy? Because I can still revise this. But I do like how I can see a little bit of the diamond through there.

I unfortunately have no way of editing your CAD. So I would really just ignore my comment about boxiness, it''s REALLY a very personal thing. If it''s bugging you ask them to make the CAD of the gallery--the corners-- a little more delicate and see if you like the look better. I love seeing the culet through the side too. My setting is like that as well.

Oh ok I guess I don''t know what a gallery is!! Still trying to learn all these terms Are you talking about the little diamonds around the center of the ring, could they cut those 4 corners off somehow? I thought you were talking about the part underneath the center stone cause it is really square. Or can you post an example of someone else''s ring maybe that looks less boxy? I guess I''m kind of confused now!! But I REALLY appreciate everyone''s input!

The gallery is ... if you look at side view where the ring touches your finger. I just looked and Dani's ring's gallery looks similar to yours but her's is a split prong setting (not a halo) I love hers... so it's probably just the CAD image making it bulky. It does that. Ignore me. COMPLETELY.

This is a case of me opening my mouth, and inserting my foot. VERY VERY sorry.

I like the cut corners of it and the way that it tapers toward the stone. Have you thought about wearing a wedding band with it? The setting seems to sit on the finger in a way that won''t allow a straight band to sit flush with it.

Don''t be sorry I asked for it!! I just wanted to see the diff between boxy and not boxy, but I still really like the way it looks, it''s hard to tell with this 1980''s computer image in green and black!

Yes I def want a flush wedding band, and the designer said I wouldn''t be able to wear the WB by itself, because there will be a little notch in it so it slides right up, which is fine w/ me

That''s a pic of Dani''s original setting. She changed it to a stunning Ritani set because she wanted a flush fit band and her basket wouldn''t allow for it.
