Buying diamond online

I been looking at diamond on the internet and came across a few sites having the same spec/size and gia cert # for their diamonds.
Do these sites share the same inventory?

Uniondiamond.com price were higher than a particular site I have been reviewing. Anyone know if they will give a competitive price compare to other sites?
Would you recommend uniondiamond.com?

It is common that many sites have the same access to stones and that they come up from multiple vendors. These stones are called "virtual" stones. However, many vendors like whiteflash, jamesallen, and goodoldgold.com also stones that are only theirs and this is referred to as "in-house." The nice thing about in-house stones is that a vendor can personally look at the stone for you and give their opinion.
