buying a diamond online .. freaking out a little bit

I’m purchasing a diamond from a very reliable company online. It hasn’t arrived yet so this is a little preliminary. Can anyone tell by this pic If the dark shadows in the middle are bad.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I have a video and more pics if that helps! (The jeweler is telling me it’s a realy great buy and I trust him (as much as I can for someone I’ve never met

I believe that is a sample picture, not a picture of the diamond that you bought.

I hope that is the case, because the sample is not a great example of fine cutting.

Is it certified? If it is, please get the details of the diamond like table%, depth, crown angle, pavilion angle and clarity diagrams so we can assess the diamond. Also would be good to see the aset/IS images. But from the initial pics the diamond looks very good.

Yes, I hope you’re getting a certificate with a purchase of that size and $$$$! Also hope there’s a good return policy if you don’t like it......
