Buy Rock Online/Rings from T&Co. -- Who Will Set Rock?

Has anyone bought a diamond online and had it set in an actual ring from Tiffany's? I am thinking about buying a rock from e-vendor, but then actually buying the engagement ring from Tiffany's.

Also, if you can do such a thing -- who will likely set the stone for you? Do you think Tiffany's would? Or is that like asking Harvard to accept your credits from a community college?

Nope, Tiffany's will not sell you the setting without a diamond. If you want to go this route you'll need to buy a T&Co ring second-hand.

tiffany does not sell the setting seperate but there are plenty of clones out there that are just as nice looking.

If they did you would need it redone by someone with skill. They would likelyn damage your diamond and then eff up the setting really well. The servicemen there are just...the worst.


Id really suggest you get a similar style from your vendor. Or is it the T&Co stamp that you require.

No. I don't need the stamp. I just figured since everyone sells Tiffany-style settings it was worth seeing if the real thing was a possibility for not much more. I am not willing to pay their diamond prices, though.

Buy a similar style. Their rings are absurd and I honestly don't think they sell their rings without their stones.

Several of them here will make a similar style. You can probably get one closes t to the original through icestore.com.

I'm still looking for a copy of the tiffany ribbon ring setting-its a round with a strip of tiny diamond on each side like a bow and then tiny diamonds around the band. Anyone know anyone who makes something similar? thanks

Both Whiteflash and Superbcert both make a replica of the Tiffany setting. They both are excellent copies and both custom make the ring for you so the diamond sets in low on the ring. Both settings are under $1,000 in Plat

I know Signedpieces.com had a ribbon ring for sale a couple of months ago. They are a good source to get authetic rings secondhand. There inventory varies, but that's one way to get that ring.
