I have a problem with sizing. The ring fits snugly over her knuckles but on her finger it moves around like crazy. I once saw an estate ring with a clip on the side that acted as a hinge, yet it was sort of decorative. Sorry I can''''t explain any better. Was that a butterfly clip? If not, do you know what I''m referring to? We really don''t prefer the other options.

Thanks so much.

i''m not sure of the name of what you are talking about but here is a ''horseshoe sizer'' which would work much the same.

this is ''jazmine''s beautfiul ring. (hope you don''t mind jazmine!)

Don''t mind at all. I highly recommend this, as I have the same problem as your fiance does. The horseshoe sizer presses outward as you move the ring over the knuckle and then squeezes in when the ring is in place to keep the diamond upright.

No thats not it...but thanks...its more like a clasp that is on the side of the ring on the outside, clearly visible. it is very nice looking so it actually ads character to the ring. sorry again for the vague description.

Could this be it? http://www.fingermate.com/

Thanks so much for the quick reply, but unfortunately I was unable to describe what I meant...But a follow up question...whatis a ballpark price to have a couple of ring beads put in? Just so I know whats fair when we go out tommorow.

Thanks again

I also found these.

Maybe $100-$200. I had those first but they did not work that well. They still made the ring hard to get off because they don't give like the butterfly clip. They also did not stop the spinning much.
