Check this one out. The pictures aren''t very detailed, but the description is very good, she has a good return policy and 100% feedback. There is a Best Offer option. It might be worth taking a chance to see it for yourself.

Here is another beautiful stone. The price is set high, but this vendor has been known to take some unbelievable Best Offers. He''s the one I purchased the current yellow gold setting I''m working with.

And another. I can''t quite tell if the diamond is dirty, or if those are clarity issues.

WOW, You are one fast fairy! This one does look very nice. I asked a few questions of the seller but don''t have answers yet. Would it bother you, not having a cert? It doesn''t look like there would be one.

With a 7 day return window, should I decide to return it, does the clock start ticking on the day I receive it? Then, does it end the day I place it with a shipper, or the day the seller actually receives it back?

I have purchased some perfumes and such on Ebay, but never anything pricey. A little scary, I do like the 100% positive feedback.
Let me check out the others you sent.

Yes, that''s great, except the price. I will keep an eye on this, too.

This could fill the bill nicely, especially if you''re going to bezel it.
I would hesitate on this one, as it notes all sales final. I guess if I had done this many times, it wouldn''t be troubling.

This one is a beauty! It has an EGL cert. K VS2
Yes, it IS a beauty!

I''m wondering about the measurements. The descriptions says:
Weight:- 0.89 carat Width:-5.89 to 5.98mm Depth:- 3.94mm

One of the others:
75ct The diamond measures 6mm

What do you make of the difference in width?

One of the major characteristics of vintage cuts is the variability of depth and table. This results in a difference in diameter size. You almost have to throw away what you know about round brilliants and their measurements.

I'll take another look at the two you've described, but off the top of my head I'll tell you that the difference between 6mm and 5.89 is very little. It may be that the K is deeper. Remember to use your eyes as the best tool.

From the first post you made, 7 day return would be from the day it is delivered to you until the day you put it back into the mail. I also would feel pretty confident that based on the sellers feedback and the very detailed description that as long as you are messaging them throughout the process, they will be pretty willing to work with you.

Let me know if you have any more thoughts!

**I just took a look and the .89 K is a loose stone, which allows for much more accurate measurements. The .75 stone is mounted, so the weight is based on measurements alone. This stone quite likely weighs more than .75 because you cannot get an accurate depth measure when a stone is mounted, and the bottom is where the weight may be hiding (just like me

You are TOO FUNNY! Just like me too, actually. I am going to study up on the transitional cut, too ... their similarities and differences to RBs and OECs. I haven''t seen one of those in person yet, so not sure I would like as much.

Some of the photos that these sellers post aren''t very good. Guess I have been spoiled by the excellent photos on PS.
