Hi PS folks! I'm looking to buy two 1ct round diamonds that are fancy brown with pink undertones (I'm flexible though). Have you found any good ebay stores or otherwise that sell brown diamonds? I've looked at Lebish, of course, but I'm to hoping catch more of a steal. This is for a side project - I couldn't find any recommendations in the archive other than http://www.fancydiamonds.net!!

I really have no idea, but do these have to be a matched pair, like for a ring? Because that is going to be extremely hard if it is the case. Matching color, cut, and size would be very hard in a colored diamond at a carat, I would think.

Did you find out the price of this pair or round Browns?

BTW, comparing prices is not as easy as it may seem.
The exact same GIA color grade can contain a range of colors which go for very very different prices.

The primary hue can vary as can the relative strength of secondary and tertiary color modifiers, affecting the price.
Also the intensity of the color can be borderline for the higher or lower grade, affecting the price.

If you are flexible, I'd do a pricescope search for colors M-Z. You won't get as brown a stone, but you will get a much more valuable diamond at a lower price.

Try diamonds by Lauren.

I am definitely looking for a brown, not yellow stone. I am planning to do a rose gold ring, so I want a brown that will pick up that pink color. I hadn't contacted Lebish about that pair, I will do! This is really just a side project so I'm hoping to catch one of those "ebay deals" I always hear about on PS!

You could also call IDJ- I see they are stocking fancy color diamond more and more...

if you want a brown stone with pink undertone, you need to look for light brown stones... anywhere from K to U-V... any darker than that pink undertone might not show as much... imho...

Also search for the keywords "pink champagne" which are often used to describe pinkish brown diamonds.

Never heard of the diamonds of that color ..... really surprised me)
