I was in Fred Leighton and saw a wedding band with a briolette drop, which I thought was beautiful. I was wondering if anyone has seen anything like this anywhere else? It seems like a unique design as I can't find other examples anywhere. Any ideas? I know I could also go custom, I was just looking for more eye candy at the moment. Thanks!

I havent seen anything like it! I think I would like it as a stand alone ring (or maybe as a stacker) but I dont think I would
want to wear it as my wedding band.

How are you planning on wearing it?

That's a lovely band, but I'd be so worried about losing the drop! Would this style band be what you wear everyday? I'd just look into how delicate you'd have to be to wear it; personally, I don't know that I could constantly baby my wedding band.

Either way, it is gorgeous, and certainly unique!

I've never seen that, but it really does work with a rose cut center e-ring.

I love this! What is briolette? Does that refer to the type of stone, or is the drop a diamond??? I want I want!!!!

Briolette is a shape. It is the shape that the diamond drop is cut into. I bet the light play is amazing....

The set is utterly lovely, but for a RHR. Does anyone recall when SJP's character Carrie in Sex and the City received a necklace of diamond briolettes from Mikhail Baryshnykov (sp?) and the chain broke and the scattered everywhere? Anyway, beautiful rings!

I'm a big briolettes fan! I would wear this band with an ER without problem. It's absolutly original and beautiful!

Thanks for the feedback everyone! The engagement ring pictured is not mine, but I tried on one of the briolette drop bands with my ring and it looked beautiful. I really love the idea of something a little bit different- the pave band give lots of sparkle but the drop makes it so unique.

I would be wearing this as my everyday wedding band though, I will look into how much I will have to 'baby' it. I honestly would think that the pave would be more delicate than the briolette.
