Hi, can anyone tell me what the appropriate bracelet length should be? I just got a G bracelet with links and it is constantly turning upside down on my arm.
I am thinking about getting a link removed, but not sure if I should go ahead and do it.

Where should the bracelet fall when your arm is upright and down?

personal preference I wear 6.75 some are 7 " etc.

I think it depends on the style of the bracelet and the size of your wrist. For chain styles, such as DBTY, I am okay up to 7 inches and it will fall on the part of my hand below my wrist but not slide off my hand. I think there are some bracelet styles that might be better a little shorter. I think 7" is pretty much the standard medium size, but a lot also depends on the size of the wrist. I used to have bracelets shortened to 6 1/2 when I was younger, but unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on the way you look at it!), I am usually okay with a 7 now.

Post a picture and maybe we can help you better!

Thanks ladies.
I was wondering if there was a standard formula, like wrist circumference plus 1 or 2 inches.
Also, when your arm is down, how far down should it drop to, ex. one inch on the fleshy part of the thumb.

I have another link pave bracelet that is 6.75 and it never turns over. This one is 7 inches and it always rolls over so that the underside is showing, which is annoying. It's the only bracelet I own that does it so that's why I think it's probably too big.

I don't know if there is a standard rule of thumb regarding bracelet length or where the bracelet is supposed to lay but I like a bracelet that doesn't dangle much otherwise it gets in the way of my daily activities. My wrist is about 5 3/4 inches so I like my bracelets around 6 1/2 inches or so. Enough room for movement but not too much room to get in the way or fall off your wrist. And I like the way the bit of dangle looks.

Thanks for the replies. I still have time to decide. I think I will wear it for now.
In the past, I had another Simon G bracelet shortened and was not quite happy with the work.

Thanks again!
