Hey guys. We are thinking of going to Boneo (Kota Kinabalu) for our honeymoon. Staying at the Shangri-la Rasa Ria. Has anyone been there? To KK? Any feedback, ideas? We would be doing 7 or 10 nights in Sept 09.

We''re thinking of going there for a few nights as part of our honeymoon too! I''ve just been researching on tripadvisor but we haven''t decided anything yet.

Apparently, if you stay in KK, the best two hotels are the Rasa Ria (our 1st choice) or the Megellan. The Megellan has some great deals ie. sometimes they have stay 10, pay 5!! however, they are on the habour close to KK and don''t have a beach. The Rasa Ria is further of out KK itself (about 30 mins) however it''s smack bang on the beach and does have a hotel shuttle to town regularly. Arghh! The choices!!!
