Ok, I listed my favorite sad song as Don McLean's (though I prefer the Josh Groban version) Vincent. I also have a print of Starry Night hanging in my home.
I have just been staring at the print humming the song to myself. I know that VanGogh painted this when he was in an asylum, but would love to read about him.
Any art (past or present) majors who can recommend a great book about VanGogh or at least a website that portrays his life in depth?
