How does Blue Nile assign cut grades to their asscher cuts when it seems like the only data they have is the GIA report? I thought there wasn''t any magic formula to predict a good looking asscher? I''ve been trying to screen for asschers with a table under 65%, crown height over 10% and depth under 70%. Does that sound reasonable?
I also found it interesting that almost all their "signature cut" asschers had a culet, while the "very good" and "good" had none.
thanks.
