Bling Envy!

I have no diamond here in China and I am so envious of the other wives!! They all have rings that are "normal" sized (all smaller than a carat) and so they all brought their rings, no problemo. We get together for expat wifey things and I see bling bling bling glittery glitter zing zing EVERYWHERE and all I have is my 12 euro silver knot band I bought in Ireland. I am so jealous. I have my .5ctw earrings but I can''t SEE them lol

How silly, huh? But I''m serious - the envy is palpable!

Almost everyone gets bling envy at one time or another! But it''s still fun to admire, even if it makes you a little envious

Aww bless you! Just keep focused on when you can get back and reset your beautiful stone. And if that doesn''t help then you might just have to buy a little something to keep you going

I do want to buy something - maybe an eternity ring of some sort - I actually got a quote on a ring before I left but didn''t have time to make it - I will have to plan everything just right so that it will be ready and arrive while I''m in the states and I don''t know when that will be.

I know I talked about getting a ring here in china and I still may - but it won''t have diamonds (ew ick no way) and I''m thinking something 24k or close to it that is matte... the rings here, even the high quality gold ones, are not a particular ring size - they are like the kid rings that squeeze tighter on your finger - how weird huh? Gold is expensive. Silver is cheap but it''s the low quality kind that tarnishes. phooey!
