Birthday emerald ring!

Hey everyone, it’s my birthday and my new emerald ring arrived so I’m super happy and want to share pics!

Here she is! Miss Clover from Ivy & Rose (or is it now The Filigree Room?).

I had been watching this ring a long time because it has everything i want in an emerald ring: 1) emerald cut, 2) 14k white gold, 3) diamond halo. The emerald is Colombian, 0.65 ct and has had standard oiling treatment.

When a PS-er mentioned the 15% eBay sale, i knew i had to strike! I wasn’t sure the code would go through but it did and now it’s on my hand



And here is Clover with her emerald siblings. The tiny one is vintage, possibly Colombian also, while the other two are Zambian, set in silver.

If anyone is interested in this halo setting, Ivy and Rose has it in their shop. You would be welcome at any St Pat’s parade!

So, this year, eBay has been having sitewide one-day 15% off sales. It’s not just on jewelry, it could be anything across all categories. It’s something I’ve never seen before and I’m glad I caught it. They do cap the monetary value at $100 but even that is extremely generous imo.

I never really thought of myself as an emerald person either since I started with a sapphire e-ring and worked my way up the semi-precious chain. Along the way, I realized that beryls really resonate with me, especially emerald. It sounds very new age-y but they have a great energy about them.

Well one cannot go wrong with beautiful emerald earrings.
(Though not being a matchy matchy girl I would suggest not wearing the earrings and ring and pendant all together but there is no right or wrong when it comes to gorgeous bling).
