I have received the first of my two inherited stones that I sent to Brian Gavin for recutting (as discussed in a previous thread). It is now a 2.31ct, H, VVS2, Brian Gavin Signature Hearts and Arrows branded stone. I'm over the moon for every element of this journey: The diamond, the mounting, and the SERVICE. The diamond is spectacular. The setting is the Classic 6-prong Solitaire in 14k from CLIQ, the rings that open up for a perfect fit. And the service I have received from Brian Gavin Diamonds has been amazing. Jamie, Lesley, and Brian have all been closely and actively involved from start to finish on this, and their professionalism, follow-through, and kindness has been extraordinary. A recut is a total leap of faith, as well as having a ring set to one's liking from afar, and they have been phenomenal with the "hand-holding" and reassurance that I needed! They've treated me as if I was one of their best customers yet this is the first transaction I've had with them and I didn't even outright purchase a diamond... I did 2 recuts with mountings (but I plan to purchase also!). My husband has been equally impressed with their level of service. I don't know if my file with the AGS lab report will post so, if not, here are the specs:

Without further ado, here it is:
Here's a little video they made to demonstrate how the CLIQ ring works
