Best way to self-clean/polish Diamond and Setting?

Hi guys,

Just purchased a Belomo loupe for my fiancee diamond and side-stone platinum setting and included came two 'SELVYT' clothes which apparantly I can use to clean the stone and setting? Would you recommened using this? or would you be able to direct me to the best product and method to self-polish/clean the stone and setting?
