What is the best way to clean it? Is ultrasonic still the way to go?
What brand?
What cleaners?
Any certain chemicals to avoid?

(my ring is palladium)

Thanks for your help!

i''m assuming it''s a diamond ring correct? i only ask because certain gemstones should not be used in an ultrasonic cleaner or be cleaned with ammonia.

if it is, there are various ways to clean your new new baby. ultrasonic cleaners are great since they can get into those tiny crevices, but they can be expensive, and i''ve heard stories of how stones became loose out of a setting. an alternative is using jewelry cleaner, an ammonia & hot water solution, or even a dish detergent & hot water solution.

i usually pour some store bought jewelry cleaner in a small bowl or cup and add some hot water. i let my rings soak for a little while, and then scrub with the little brush that comes with the jewelry cleaner, and rinse in hot water. my mom taught me a cool little trick by using the frothing wand off my espresso maker to steam clean my jewelry. it works great!
