Hello, I have been lurking here for the past month and you guys have open my eyes to the world of diamonds. I initially bought a 1ct. D, triple ex, SI2, GIA stone from James Allen. The stone was very bright but it had a pretty big dead spot in the stone that showed no life. It was sad that my sister's $5 dollar fake ring from walmart outperformed this stone.
Fortunately, James Allen has great customer service and they promptly refunded my money as soon as I sent it back, I would love to give them my business but I want to get the best performing princess cut possible. After doing some research, I ended up putting this diamond on hold:

I think the ASET images looks great but I am a little worried that it doesn't have enough contrast due to a low representation of blues when compared to other ideal princess cuts from GOG and whitefish.
Can I do better? I really want a stone that can at least outperform a cz ring and perhaps be on par to a Tiffany's princess cut.
Thanks!
