Best halo setting for $1,000 or less?

What is your recommendation for a halo setting that costs $1,000 or less? I'm looking for something rather dainty, and I like pave diamonds on the band but know that might not be feasible with this budget. Diamond would be just under 1carat and I color.

And can you talk to me about milgraining? I know it's free at James Allen, for example, but how does a customer know what added milgraining is going to look like on a halo (or other) setting? Thank you in advance for your advice and insights.

Some of the Ritani line might come close to that but will be over $1000, I believe. I'm not sure about prices for Beverly K, but you could check.

You could contact David Klass for an estimate. He is David Klass Jewelry on Facebook.

Other than that, maybe Lord of Gem Rings or some other Chinese maker. Or secondhand. Or a "display model" from ebay.

Milgrain, to me, isn't delicate. If you want delicate and lacy, leave the milgrain off is what I recommend. But your opinion may differ from mine.

Oops that was a setting for a 7.5mm. This one is the same setting for a 6.5mm stone and so it should be a better price. And Luann said they can do claw prongs if you want..... which of course you want claw prongs, right!! :D

BTW: I got the quotes about 2 wks ago.

I wouldn't go lower in quality than Ritani or Gabriel. I would caution you about palladium, though, because some jewelers can't even size rings made of palladium. I'd do 14k white gold if the budget requires it. It's only $150 more on the Ritani ring.

I just remembered that I took photos of the Gabriel halo ring with an A Jaffe ring. The halo with a plain split shank ring is also a Gabriel ring. Hope this helps :))

DS do you think the standard halo from JA or WF don't have the same quality as Ritani or Gabriel? I'm asking because I'm helping my brother purchase a ring and he's looking at a halo with no diamonds on the shank. I've suggested the standard halo setting from said vendors so that he can maximize his budget on the stone.

OP sorry for the thread jack.
