Just 2 - Four Lions (very funny in a twisted kind of way) and the Swedish (original) version of Let The Right One In.

I have seen a few of the above films.
The below comments are my opinion only.

Melancholia is incredibly sad and at times hard to watch but it is a powerful movie about depression
The Lobster is dark and somewhat funny but depressing too and some scenes I found upsetting
Enjoyed Persepolis very much. It is heartbreaking and illuminating
Pan's Labyrinth is incredibly mesmerizing
The Lives of Others is one of my favorite movies
Suspiria I love Tilda Swinton...she never disappoints

I saw most of these films many years ago and maybe time to watch again. Thanks for starting this thread Kenny

I've got a big list here (mostly French) that I have really enjoyed. I don't know that they are considered the best, but they were certainly entertaining and worth my time.

Tell No One (2006)
Heartbreaker (2010)
Romantics Anonymous (2010)
Populaire (2012)
He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not (2002)
Priceless (2006)
The Lives of Others (2006) -- Agree with missy. Amazing film that guts me.
The Memory of a Killer (2003) -- Belgian movie
