Berricle Asschers - all the same?

Hi all :))

So I don't visit this section of the forum very much but today I stumbled on the amazing EC-cut ring from Berricle that @soxfan kindly posted a load of pictures of!

It looks amazing, far better than I'd expect any CZ to ever perform, so Berricle has piqued my interest...

I am years away from getting the 2ct+ Asscher-cut diamond I want for a gents' RHR :( (even if considering MMDs!) so I'm wondering about getting a 2ct/7mm(ish) Asscher from Berricle and resetting it into a Bruce Boone tension setting in the interim :)

Even if I don't wear it outside of the house, if the performance is anywhere near as good as the EC soxfan posted it would keep me entertained and distracted at home, and hopefully help encourage me to save harder!

However - I am confused with regards to the cuts they are offering on the site... :???:

For example:

https://www.berricle.com/asscher-cu...er-solitaire-ring-1-96-ct-jewelry-r785-cl.htm
7mm stone, simple band so not much to 'waste' when I take it apart, but I'm not sure about the short windmills / carre-cut style centre section.

https://www.berricle.com/solitaire-...-sterling-silver-2-carat-jewelry-vr101-02.htm
Also a 7mm stone, comes with an additional plain silver band that I wouldn't need, BUT... the stone has 'full' windmills that go all the way down to the bottom.

https://www.berricle.com/sterling-s...re-engagement-stackable-ring-set-vr275-01.htm
Another 7mm stone, also has an additional band I wouldn't need, and the stone has full windmills but looks different to the one above...

So, TL;DR...
- are all the Asscher cut stones from Berricle the same cut/style?
- Or are the pictures in each listing representative of different cutting styles, and one would need to order one of each to compare them?

Thanks, blu - I had read that about the Swarovski stuff in one of the other threads and was avoiding it when browsing!

I've had a most frustrating webchat on the site about whether the stones with the different cuts in the pictures on the site come *only* with the settings they are pictured in or whether it is the luck of the draw as to what you get - I couldn't quite work out if it was a person or one of those automated chatbots, lol.

The assertion was that they were all the same, although it would seem there are clear differences between short windmills and full windmills... :|

In one response it seems that *all* of the asschers on the website are Berricle, but then I was offered (but didn't get) a list of Asscher cut Swarovski rings...

EDIT: I got sent a search result that gave most of the site... lol. 1821 results but only 5 seem to be Swarovski Asschers, from what I can see, so avoid these ones!

I'm not sure he has! I know I was too late for the OctaCZ :(

Thank you for the reminder, though, I might well drop him a line :))

For a tenner postage, I think I will take the risk - I have various kids that I can pass them to if needs be! lol

The site is like Ikea, though - you're browsing through going "ooh, that's nice... and that...", and before you know it you've got a couple of hundred worth of stuff in your basket...
