I have a beautiful Edwardian pendant that began life as a pin. It had been made into a ring when I purchased it. I had the shank removed and a moving bail attached to the body. I just don't wear it as I have another lovely pin that I wear as a pendant. I would like to find a new home for this lovely piece.

1 - .23 brilliant cut diamond F/G / SI1
2 - .11 tcw brillaint cut diamonds F/G colour / VS/SI1
48 - single cut diamonds 1.11 tcw F/ G / VVS - SI1
Set in platinum design.

Retail replacement cost in 2009 - $7,950.00
Looking for reasonable offer of value.

The piece is from the Edwardian period - likely made around 1914. There are no remaining stamps or markings but the base of the original is platinum. The additional base and bail ar 14 kt gold.

I have looked online for the average retail prices for these types of pieces and they seem to be in the $7000 -$8000 range. My piece was evaluated for a retail value of @ $7900.00 in 2009. I would be looking to recoup some of that value - say something in the neighbourhood of $6000.00. I would be willing to entertain any reasonable offer.
It has been evaluated by a very well known and respected jeweller in London, ON. They have extensive experience with new, vintage and antique pieces as well as other estate pieces. I would trust their assesment implicitly.
