Barry aquaprase ring

I decided to try getting into wire wrapping since I have a bunch of cabs sitting around that I’m not likely to set anytime soon. And I also love working with my hands.

Decided to experiment with a lovely aquaprase I got from Barry awhile ago. Reminds me of aquamarine colored jade. I’ll probably reset it whenever I get around to learning to make metal bezels someday. Until then, i can wear it!

Also made the little “rose” pinky ring.

It came out great! I had mine wirewrapped as well...if only I were as talented/patient to do it myself. I always struggle with getting the sizing right.

These are my first two attempts based on YouTube videos so I’m hoping with practice and a book I’ll get better results! It’s a lot of fun and relaxing. Like knitting but more metal

I don't have a book recommendation......I took a couple of classes many years ago. I've referred to that info and then spun off on my own adventures. There are a lot of tutorials online............some of them are good, but be wary as some are not! : /
