Now that I was able to order the wedding dress (after calling the credit card company and asking why my CC did not work) - I thought I would outline my history with Auto Fraud Protection:
The following are all internet purchases:
It blocked my buying $20-$30 in computer cables from Tiger Direct to be shipped to my house (I seem to order from Tiger an average of once per year over many years).
It allowed me to buy a $1600+ computer from Dell to be shipped to my house (I Last purchased from Dell Computer 7 years ago).
It allowed me to buy the $500 advanced package of driving school lessions in New York (I live in Wisconsin) for someone else.
It blocked a $200 wedding dress to be shipped to my house.
Does anyone see a pattern here, and I wonder what they are trying to protect from (like perhaps their logic is reversed).
Have a great day,
Perry
