I have been lurking over this forum for months and I have to say that I really learnt a lot about diamond from here. I have been engaged for a while now but I can only afford to buy my fiancee a proper diamond e-ring now after I''ve graduated and has a job. Living in the UK means diamonds are overpriced. Then I found this forum, and it convinced me to buy diamonds online from a reputable vendor. Based from what I''ve learnt I''ve just bought this stone (which I think is a good price) to be put on a classic whiteflash tiffany setting.

But that is another story. Because of this forum I''m going diamond crazy myself and I''m begging my fiancee to buy me a diamond wedding band haha.. I''m doing a lot of research about mens wedding band and personally I''m blown away with asquareguy''s asscher.. I think asscher has that masculine look and I think I want to go ahead with finding a kicken''s asscher.

However since I have a really thin fingers for a guy (seriously, I measured my ring finger and it''s a 5

, I would be looking for a small asscher around 3-4mm diameter because I think any stone bigger than that would make a tension setting thick and uncomfortable. Of course I might be wrong because I''m a total newbie

. I''m not sure what carat weight corresponds to this diameter, but would stone this small shows the optical characteristics of asscher? Any input on this would be great, thanks!

Thanks Sparkles22 wow they do have nice diamond wedding bands but I can''t find an asscher there. But it does give me some idea for setting though. So from the size chart it will be around 0.25-0.4 carat. Asquareguy''s asscher ring is something to drool for

But I would be looking for a much smaller stone so the tension band will be less thick. But I''m worried if smaller stone won''t show much of the "10 miles view" effect that every asscher''s lover is looking for. Does anyone has smaller asscher ring pics to compare with?

No problem. Sorry I couldn''t find any men''s asscher bands (I did find a women''s eternity band with asschers, if you are curious how smaller asschers look: http://www.signedpieces.com/search.cfm?item_category=FRET&style_number_id=53 and http://www.signedpieces.com/search.cfm?item_category=FEB&style_number_id=28)

Asquareguy''s ring is very nice and unique!

finding well cut asschers that small is hard.
Since your working with WF ask them to check with their Russian contact.
You don''t get the full look but they can be very pretty.

I''m not sure this is what you have in mind, but I love this wedding band. I think its super masculine.

I totally agree. Even my DH would wear that one and he''s the great watch and plain wedding band type of guy.

I seem to recall that Tom Cruise''s wedding band had diamonds, but can''t find a picture of it right now. Were they asschers? Can''t say for sure.

I''m not much help, sorry.

Ohhhh I like that one! I was looking on signed pieces for a men''s asscher, as I thought they carried the smaller ones set into bands.
