#TBT Asscher Zircon ring dipped in diamond sugar by Victor Canera

Better to avoid an abundance of sugar,
unless your ring is dipped in it!!!

I am so excited!!! Victor did it again: he made a
beautiful ring for me Tomorrow I will pick
up the ring at my jeweller in Antwerp. Tomorrow
cannot come soon enough.

Victor has sent me some photo's. Hopefully I will
love it just as much in real life.

I found the Asscher Zircon via Jeffery Davies. And
fell for the cut and colour on the photo and video.

Specs of the stone:
2.42ct blue Zircon
Origin: Cambodia
Size: 7 mm clean
Cut: modified asscher
Treatment: standard heat

My inspiration rings were a non halo ring with 3
sided pave from Victor and the beautiful Lovey
ring.

On the photo's it looks like Victor dipped the ring
in a bowl of sugar. I am so looking forward to
wear my candy ring!!

Some information on the setting:

vintage octagonal halo solitaire
platinum
handforged
0,90 ct single cut melee is used in the setting

Hope that it looks as good on my hand

Oh my gosh, this is so beautiful. Blue is my very favorite color and this ring is exceptional.

When I first saw the pic, I thought 'ooooh Lovey's ring'. I have loved that ring since my first day on PS! Your ring is gorgeous in blue! What a spectacular setting. I absolutely can't wait until you post some real life shots. It is sure to become my favorite and a fav here on PS as well.
It is quite perfect.

Thank you missyI have no idea about the true colour. In the video the colour is more a tranquil greyish blue. And on the vendor pic a mid blue Luckily I love literally all blues

Ah, what a fun birthstone mayk. I have discovered the Zircon via PS and it seems to be a beautiful colored stone.

Lovey's ring is also one of my favourites luv2sparkle. My ring partly is a hommage to hers

Thank you for your kind words D&T. I would love to own an Asscher cut diamond one day. It such a beautiful cut and I love that it's a Dutch product. But it's not going to happen soon and maybe never as I am so banned . So I was glad I have found a more budget friendly Zircon in modified Asscher cut.

The Zircon seems to be a more greyish jeans blue in this video. I am so curious to see the true colour. Luckily I love love love all blues

That is gorgeous! The setting is an absolute masterpiece & I'm a huge fan of asscher cut gemstones. As far as the color goes, I also purchased a stone from Jeff Davies (grey spinel) and it was quite different from his pictures and video. The cut is beautiful so I kept it, still haven't set it. I do like the color of your zircon. Please update the thread with your thoughts on the stone once you receive it.

That's quite marvelous. I really like the melee in the shank. The stone itself is lovely. I love the colors, and the cut really brings them out. Just great!

I love the steely blue color of the video even more than the color in the still pics. It looks like the sea on a windy, stormy day.

You have the brilliant, breathless Caribbean ocean (in a ring) and now you have the stormy wild ocean! (in a ring) Gorgeous!

Yay!!! It's pick-up day today!!! I first have an important meeting though so I need to stay focused and concentrated . After that I will take the train to Diamond House to pick up my ring. For me the biggest mystery is the color of the stone
