I''ve found an Asscher that I find dazzling, and will likely purchase it just for that reason. (1.07 F VS1) The table dimension seems good (65%), the depth appears - numerically - pretty deep (75.1%), but the stone is again dazzling.
My one question though. Through all the Asschers I''ve seen in the past few months of learning and shopping, this is the first high quality stone with windmills that don''t appear to meet in the center of the stone, they don''t appear to originate at the cutlet and extend to the corners. They each appear to begin halfway up the steps, all 4 in symmetry.
I found a photo online which represents how these windmills appear http://www.madisondiamondrings.co.uk/loose_diamonds/8.html
Is there any reason to question this stone due to this windmill peculiarity? Is this acceptable as an Asscher cut?
Thank you for any and all help!
